PTFE tubing, which is extruded with very tight tolerances, is a good choice for many advanced applications. It's properties allow exceptional resistance to degeneration of mechanical properties under severe conditions. PTFE tubing does not support combustion and has very good dielectric properties. The tubing can be extruded with fillers to enhance the abrasion-resistance properties or radiopacity. PTFE is available in tubing, spiral profile, heatshrink and other configurations. Etching is also available.
