February 1, 2021 PRICE ADJUSTMENT
Dear ATP Customer,
I hope you had a Merry Christmas, and you are healthy as we move into the New Year!
Thank you for your business during 2020, by far the most difficult year any of us have faced in a long time. Although there have been a few bright spots, for the most part, ATP will have a down year, and I assume many of you will report the same.
As we’ve been winding down 2020, over the past few months ATP has received Price Increase notices from many of our suppliers. These range from plastic raw material suppliers, accessory suppliers of brass and metals, paper products, and the big one, Freight! With fewer planes, ships, trucks, and workers, it has been more difficult to get timely shipments of product, and all of them coming at a premium cost.
It has been since February 2018 that ATP has had a price increase. Unfortunately, moving into 2021 for all the reasons mentioned above we must adjust prices on most of our product lines. ATP always tries to remain as competitive as possible and does not adjust pricing without just cause. Although we received price increases from some of our suppliers in 2019 and 2020, we did not pass those increases on to our customers.
Pricing on Polyurethane, Polyethylene, and PVC raw materials are increasing due to high global demand. We’ve also seen significant price increases in Brass, Steel, and other metal products. As mentioned above, freight has become a guessing game, regarding price and availability in both air and ocean shipments. The one bright spot is Nylon raw material. This products pricing has remained steady, and therefore, there will not be a price increase on Nylon Straight Tubing, or our New DOT Nylon Tubing and Brass Fitting line.
Please see the following listing on Page 2. ATP will incorporate price adjustments on all product lines effective February 1, 2021.
The price adjustments vary by product line and are as follows:
All special or custom quoted items are included and will be reviewed and revised as needed.
All items ordered before February 1, 2021, for immediate shipment will be honored at the old price, excluding blanket orders. New Blanket Purchase Orders will be quoted at the new pricing
